Dear Parent/Carer

On behalf of the children, staff and governors, I welcome you and your family to Langtoft Primary School.

We hope that you find this website informative and helpful.  We have included information on topics that are typically of interest to parents/carers who are looking for the right school for their child but should you have any other questions, please do contact us. A useful starting place is the About Us and For Parents tabs. There you will be able to read our latest Ofsted report, find our performance data and have your FAQs answered.

At the heart of what we do, are children. It is our resolve that every child reaches their full potential where they know and celebrate their strengths. The curriculum that children experience at Langtoft Primary School is personalised, broad and thematic, equipping pupils for life and fostering a life-long love of learning.

As a Unicef Gold Rights Respecting School, staff understand their role as duty bearers, securing children’s understanding of and access to the Rights of the Child.  The school’s 7 core values ~ Confidence, Cooperation, IndependenceAmbitionConsideration
RespectResilience
~ underpin our curriculum and all we do in school, and guide children in becoming citizens of Langtoft Primary School and global citizens of the wider world.

Once again, in May 2023, we were awarded the School Games Mark: Gold for our commitment to activity and sport.

I am always happy to show parents/carers and their children around our school so that you may see for yourself what we have to offer.  You can see the children learning, meet and talk with the staff and discover for yourself what makes Langtoft Primary School so special and so popular.

A warm and friendly welcome awaits you.

Mrs B Wood
Headteacher

> OUR VISION AND VALUES <

'Pupils say they feel safe at school and know who to talk to if they have a worry.  Pupils told me that they try hard at school and teachers set work for them that challenges them.' Ofsted, September 2017
